askmyfinance.com helps you find the right financial product by describing what you need in plain English.
Most comparison sites make you click through pages of filters before you see a single result. We built something different. You tell us what you need — how much you want to borrow, your credit situation, what matters most to you — and our tool matches you to the products that actually fit.
Who runs this site
My name is Chris Shupe. I am the founder of askmyfinance.com.
I have spent the past seven years in marketing, working with brands like DoorDash, Ruby Tuesday, and European Wax Center before starting my own marketing company, Dominate Marketing. I built askmyfinance.com because I kept seeing the same problem: people making big financial decisions with bad information.
Credit card comparison sites bury the APR. Loan comparison tools show “rates as low as” that almost nobody qualifies for. I wanted to build something that just answers the question you actually asked.
How the tool works
You describe your situation in plain language. Our tool matches that description to current financial products — credit cards, personal loans, savings accounts, and debt consolidation options — based on actual eligibility criteria, not just marketing copy.
We pull rate data from primary sources including lender rate sheets, Federal Reserve data, and CFPB records. Rate content is reviewed and updated monthly.
Our commitment to accuracy
Every article on askmyfinance.com is reviewed by Chris before it goes live. We cite primary sources. We disclose affiliate relationships on every page where they exist. We update rate data monthly and note the review date on all rate-sensitive content.
If you find an error, email us at chris@dominatethemarketplace.net and we will review and correct it within five business days.
